Much of your work will be done using the command line interface.
Here's a short tutorial to teach you the basics:
Draw a pattern on p1 using the mouse
Without entering anything on the command line, press the [Tab] key. You should see a list of all available commands:
Enter the following on the command line interface:
help copy
You should see the following:
Copy the pattern that you drew in p1 to p2 by entering:
copy p1 p2
Click on p2's tab and you should see that the pattern has been copied.
